The girls are starting to be entertained by certain things! This makes life MUCH easier for me! Today I even had time to brush my teeth before Alan got home from work! Quite an accomplishment these days!

Mommy already letting the girls watch TV ... limited to 15 minutes while I ate lunch (Ok, 25) Now we want to stare at the fan ... we like to watch Mommy turn it on, watch it speed up, then turn it off and watch it sllllooooowwww down ... we are being sweet and holding hands.

I have to give props to my friend Cathy for introducing us to bouncing the baby on the exercise ball. Here is what I like to call the "double baby bounce method." 95% success rate for simultaneously crying babies. Crying to content in 0 to 10!

We are smiling and cooing which makes all the sleepless nights worth it! Easy to say now since Grandmama has been here helping all week! No, I'm kidding ... it would be worth it anyway!

Two month appointment ... OUCH!

We had our two month appointment today and the doc says we have two healthy (and cute =) girls! Hannah weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and Meredith 8 pounds 7 ounces. They are finally on the growth curve at 5% for weight and height! They each got 4 shots and an oral med ... they were not too happy about that!

Sleepy time again & new weights!

We had another doctor appointment last week and Hannah has pulled ahead in the race to becoming 'big mama' (as Alan used to call Meredith because of her really round head & because she always weighed more than her sister). Hannah was 7 pounds 9 ounces and Meredith 7 pounds 8 ounces ... still neck and neck! They MAY make it to 5% on the growth curve by their two month appointment! Two more methods that work well to keep the girls asleep (knock on wood!!!) The side-to-side swing borrowed from Rachel, Kolby & Cohen ... and a warm body ... any warm body. These girls are people persons (people people??) and they love to be held! When I am by myself I really wish I had 4 arms!!!
